Job summary

Supreme Solar is seeking a hands-on electrician to help farmers and business owners understand their energy use, identify opportunities, and guide customers from initial consultation through to signed contracts.

You will conduct on-site solar assessments, inspect electrical infrastructure, present tailored solar and battery solutions, and build lasting relationships with rural clients while working with company leadership.

Qualifications

• Current New Zealand Registered Electrician Licence.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into practical advice.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Full driver's licence.
• Solar industry experience is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site solar assessments for agricultural, commercial, and residential customers.
• Inspect electrical infrastructure and identify installation requirements.
• Present tailored solar and battery solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Build long-term relationships with farmers, rural businesses, and commercial clients.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry through to contract signing.
• Work closely with our installation team to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Develop referral networks and generate new business opportunities.
