Job summary

Supreme Solar in Tauranga seeks a motivated solar sales professional to meet with agricultural, commercial, and residential customers to discuss energy needs. You will gather site information for proposals and present tailored solar and battery solutions with measurable value.

Grow long-term relationships with farmers and businesses, manage opportunities from enquiry through to signed contracts, and work with the design and installation teams to ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in a technical/trade-related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Clear communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to explain technical information practically.
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• NZ driver's licence is essential.

• Managing opportunities from initial enquiry through to signed contract
• Working closely with our design and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Developing referral networks and generating new business opportunities
• Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and achieving agreed sales targets

About you

• Previous sales experience, preferably in a technical, electrical, construction, or trade-related industry
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and infrastructure
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to explain technical information in a clear, practical way
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Full New Zealand driver's licence
• Solar industry experience is an advantage but not essential
