Moshtix is hiring a Technical Lead in Auckland to drive engineering on Universe, Ticketmaster’s self‑serve ticketing platform. This hybrid role requires coordinating with teams in ANZ and Toronto, writing and reviewing code, shaping architecture, and mentoring engineers.

You’ll bridge Moshtix and Universe to deliver high‑quality software while embracing AI‑driven development. You’ll lead delivery, design scalable systems, and oversee cross‑functional collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development in production teams.
• Experience leading technical teams or projects.
• Strong full‑stack capabilities across frontend and backend.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and distributed systems.
• Ability to design scalable architectures and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Universe engineering work within Moshtix, coordinating cross‑team delivery.
• Architect, implement and review scalable services and APIs across time zones.
• Hands‑on coding, reviews, and mentoring to improve engineering practices.
• Drive adoption of AI tools while maintaining accountability and quality.
• Collaborate with Universe and Ticketmaster stakeholders to align roadmaps.
