Job summary

Moshtix is seeking a Technical Lead to own engineering on Universe, Ticketmaster’s self-serve ticketing platform. You’ll lead the cross-continental development between ANZ and Toronto teams, shape architecture, and write high‑quality code while enabling AI‑driven improvements.

This hands‑on leadership role requires coordinating across two platforms, two hemispheres, and two time zones to deliver scalable, reliable software for high‑demand live events.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering in production teams.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or equivalent.
• Experience with distributed cloud systems (AWS/GCP).
• Experience with API design across REST/GraphQL/gRPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and delivery for Universe initiatives.
• Architect and build new features while modernising legacy systems.
• Stay hands-on: write/review code and set quality/observability standards.
• Drive async collaboration across time zones and teams.
