Job summary

Silver Fern Farms is recruiting for seasonal Team Member roles at our Takapau site in New Zealand. These entry-level positions include on-the-job training to build skills in meat processing and production.

You'll have the chance to develop towards skilled knife work, quality control, health and safety, or leadership as you gain experience, with overtime available during busy periods.

Our Takapau site is one of 14 food processing sites across New Zealand. The lamb and veal we handle here ends up on plates in more than 60 countries.

Our seasonal Team Member roles are entry level and need no experience. You'll get on-the-job training, and once you've completed it, you'll earn close to 30 an hour, with overtime on top when it's busy. From there you can build a career towards skilled knife roles or quality control, health and safety, or leadership.

Takapau runs on teamwork. You'll be shown the ropes by people who know the job, with a crew that has your back. Gear is provided, and there's meat on site at mates' rates to nourish your whánau.
We're an easy drive from Waipukurau, Waipawa, Ōtáne, Norsewood and Dannevirke.
