Job summary

Tourism Holdings Pty's RV Super Centre in Hamilton is seeking an energetic Team Leader to manage a small retail crew, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive store performance.

Qualifications

• One to two years' store-management experience.
• Confident, positive people leadership with the ability to drive budgets and KPIs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and numeracy skills.
• Experience in RV, marine, outdoor retail, or chain-store sales is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop the retail crew.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships.
• Meet and exceed daily sales targets while managing wage budgets and staff schedules.
• Manage merchandising, pricing, replenishment, stock monitoring, and stocktakes.
• Oversee enquiries, payments, end-of-day processes, and online-order dispatch when required.
• Build strong relationships across RV Super Centre and the wider thl business.
• Support trade shows and expos as needed.

Job description

Lead a passionate retail team, deliver outstanding customer experience, and drive the performance of our Hamilton store.

RV Super Centre is part of Tourism Holdings Limited (thl), New Zealand's premium tourism company and the world's largest campervan operator. We provide quality accessories for RV, camping, marine, tiny home, and outdoor enthusiasts—and we're looking for an energetic Team Leader to join us. RV Super Centre is made up of three individual businesses who work together to facilitate all your RV needs. We sell new and pre-loved Motorhomes; we have several workshops servicing Motorhomes and finally we sell accessories to make the most out of your journey.

About the role:

In this full-time permanent position, you'll be reporting to the National Retail Operations Manager, you'll lead our Hamilton retail crew, build strong customer relationships, and ensure sales targets and key performance indicators are achieved. This is a hands-on role combining people leadership, sales, merchandising, stock management, and daily store operations.

What you'll do:

What you'll bring:

• One to two years' previous store-management experience.
• Confident, positive people leadership with the ability to drive budgets and key performance indicators.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and numeracy skills.
• Confidence using computers, including Microsoft Excel and Word; Shopify experience is a bonus.
• A positive, energetic, team-focused approach and a great sense of humour.
• Experience in RV, marine, kitchens, plumbing, outdoor retail, or chain-store sales is advantageous.

Hours:

40 hours per week, 8:00am-4:30pm, with Saturdays and Sundays off.
