Job summary

Mountain Warehouse in Auckland is seeking a confident Team Leader to guide and inspire our retail team, delivering excellent customer service, strong sales, and engaging visual merchandising. You will lead and coach colleagues, drive KPIs, and ensure daily operations run smoothly while upholding safety and store standards.

This permanent part-time role covers stock presentation and merchandising, opening and closing duties, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Confident and reliable leader with retail experience.
• Experience coaching and mentoring teams to achieve KPI targets.
• Strong communicator able to engage across all levels.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:

• Lead engaging visual merchandising efforts to create a clean and inviting space for customers and colleagues alike.
• Prioritise Health & Safety, safeguarding the wellbeing of your team and customers.
• Motivate your team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify growth opportunities for team members and suggest strategies for their development.

Customer Experience:

• Set the standard for exceptional customer service and ensure it’s delivered consistently.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
