Mountain Warehouse in Westgate, Auckland is seeking a Team Leader to guide and inspire a retail team, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving key store metrics.

You will lead daily store operations, coach your team, and manage stock presentation, merchandising, and health & safety to ensure a vibrant shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:

Operational Excellence:

• Uphold impeccable shop floor standards, ensuring stock presentation, ticketing, and organisation are on point every day.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing duties, to ensure smooth workflows.
• Lead engaging visual merchandising efforts to create a clean and inviting space for customers and colleagues alike.
• Prioritise Health & Safety, safeguarding the wellbeing of your team and customers.

Sales & Performance:

• Motivate your team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify growth opportunities for team members and suggest strategies for their development.

Customer Experience:

• Set the standard for exceptional customer service and ensure it’s delivered consistently.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Build connections within the local community, enhancing the store’s personal and welcoming atmosphere.
