Job summary

Extrastaff in Auckland is seeking a results-driven Recruitment Consultant to deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes for clients and grow a profitable book of business. You’ll manage end-to-end recruitment, build client relationships and candidate pipelines, and hit revenue targets through proactive sales and outstanding service.

Ideal applicants have 3+ years’ recruitment or sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and familiarity with ATS tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Source candidates using job boards, social media, networking and referrals; maintain a strong pipeline.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment: job briefs, shortlisting, interviewing, offers and onboarding support.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships; act as primary contact for key accounts.
• Identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities and create tailored recruitment solutions.
• Attend industry events and network to grow business and candidate reach.
• Report on sales pipeline health and forecast revenue; meet KPIs.
• Lead by example on health & safety and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

What we’re looking for

• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and results orientation
• Bachelor’s degree or trade qualification is an advantage
