Job summary

Woolworths Group NZ is seeking a dynamic individual to optimise store-wide scheduling and lead workforce planning to meet service and budget targets. You will plan training programs, cover compliance, and support store leadership as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, strong communication, and collaboration across teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise store-wide team scheduling to maximise service, align with budgets, and adhere to rostering principles.
• Plan and oversee comprehensive training for the team, covering multi-skilling and compliance.
• Conduct strategic workforce planning for future labor needs including annual leave, succession, and certifications.
• Review weekly payroll for accuracy and resolve escalated process-related issues.
• Provide store leadership support by acting as the Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and fostering team collaboration.
