We are looking for a proactive, technically skilled, and student‑focused Teaching Technician to join our Engineering technical support team.
This is a varied and hands‑on role where you will contribute to the delivery of high‑quality teaching laboratory and workshop experiences for students across the Faculty of Engineering.
Working closely with academic staff, students, and fellow technicians, you will support the preparation, operation, and maintenance of engineering laboratories and workshops while ensuring a safe, organised, and engaging learning environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical problem‑solving, working with a wide range of engineering equipment and technologies, and supporting students in a collaborative tertiary environment.

This is a full‑time, 37.5 hours per week role, on a permanent contract. The salary range is $63,600 - $79,300 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
