Job summary

Westlake Boys High School on Auckland's North Shore is seeking an enthusiastic Technology teacher to join our Design & Innovation Faculty from Term 1, 2027. The role involves teaching Technology across Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, with Food Technology preferred but other specialist areas encouraged.

Applicants must be NZ registered and fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum, with NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Qualifications

• NZ registered teacher with current practicing certificate.
• Fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
• Experience teaching Technology subjects and willingness to contribute across multiple Tech subjects.

Responsibilities

• Teach Technology across Secondary (Years 7–15) and wharekura.
• Contribute across Design & Innovation Faculty and co-curricular activities.

The base salary for trained and registered teachers currently ranges from NZD64,119 to NZD107,886.00, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
