Job summary

Kelston Boys High School in Auckland is seeking a Teacher Aide to support learning for assigned students, reinforcing lessons and encouraging participation within a positive classroom environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–3:15 PM during term time, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, for 28.75 hours per week. Previous experience with young people is preferred and you will collaborate with teachers and the Supported Learning Department.

About the Role

Kelston Boys’ High School is a state boys’ secondary school in West Auckland, providing education for 800+ students in Years 9-13.

We are looking for a Teacher Aide to work closely with assigned students supporting their learning,progressand participation in the classroom. You will reinforce classroom learning, support positivebehaviourandworkcollaboratively withteachers and the Supported Learning Department.
