Job summary

Kelston Boys High School in Auckland is seeking a Teacher Aide to support learning for assigned students. You will reinforce classroom instruction, promote positive behaviour and work with teachers and the Supported Learning Department to maximise student participation.

The role is five days a week, 28.75 hours, during term time, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break; prior experience with young people is preferred and the base pay starts at $30.34 per hour under the SSSCA scale.

About the Role

Kelston Boys’ High School is a state boys’ secondary school in West Auckland, providing education for 800+ students in Years 9-13.

We are looking for a Teacher Aide to work closely with assigned students supporting their learning,progressand participation in the classroom. You will reinforce classroom learning, support positivebehaviourandworkcollaboratively withteachers and the Supported Learning Department.

This is afive-day-a-week, Monday to Fridayposition, working9:00 AM–3:15 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, during the school term.
