We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support IT systems that are part of the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) P-8A Poseidon program, including flight and maintenance simulators, mission support, and hardware configuration in a data centre environment. Working in a purpose-built facility at RNZAF Base Ohakea, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting our IT systems and networks while on shift. You will help ensure the reliability, performance, and security of critical systems in support of our military customer. Your strong communication skills, along with your ability to build exceptional stakeholder and customer relationships, will see you become an effective member of this multi-disciplinary team.
Applicants must be either a NZ Citizen or hold NZ Permanent Residency to obtain a NZ Defence Security Clearance.
