Job summary

Care on Call provides support to people within their homes after injury or illness, helping them live independently and leading fuller lives. We have shifts throughout Johnsonville and surrounding areas, and we’re seeking professional, warm carers who want to make a real difference in someone else’s life.

You’ll need L2-L4 health qualifications (or equivalent) and a current, clean driver’s licence, plus the legal right to work in NZ.

• Consistent, long-term availability for continuity with clients
• Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients

We Are Looking For Carers Who Can Assist With

• Home management
• Personal cares
• Assisting people to achieve their goals
• Supporting people to manage their daily activities
• Assisting with exercise, mobility, medications perhaps (with training)

What we need from you:

• L2, L3 and L4 health qualification (or equivalent) essential
• If you have no health qualification your application may not be considered*
• A current, clean full driver's licence
• The legal right to work in NZ
• Have consistent and long-term availability (we like to ensure continuity with our clients)
• Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients
• To be reliable, punctual, honest and caring
