Job summary

Access Community Health – Waipu assists tāngata with daily living in their own homes, offering flexible hours and comprehensive training to help you succeed.

You’ll provide safe, respectful, person-centered care that respects culture and routines, with ongoing support and development through structured induction and training.

Qualifications

• Committed to culturally safe, respectful support for people from all backgrounds.
• Willing to learn, reflect, and adapt your approach to what matters to each person.
• Own a smartphone.

You’ll support tāngata with their individual care needs and daily living activities — no qualifications or prior experience required. Your role is to provide safe, respectful, person centered support in people’s homes, including being mindful of what matters to them, their culture, values, beliefs, routines, and boundaries.

• Weekend shifts available (+$1.00 extra per hour)
• Paid travel time and mileage —When you travel for work, we make sure you’re compensated fairly — including paid travel time and mileage for longer trips. Full details will be shared during onboarding.
