Job summary

HealthCare NZ is a leading provider of in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation and support services in New Zealand. We are seeking candidates based in Queenstown for shift patterns with travel flexibility.

As a Support Worker you will assist clients to live independently in their homes and communities, following care plans and delivering practical and emotional support. Responsibilities include meal prep, outings, medication administration, personal care, home management and hoisting.

• Previous healthcare or care-giving experience would be advantageous

We are currently seeking candidates based in Queenstown who are available for the shifts listed below and are flexible with travel. Shift deatils :

WEEK 1:- MON- FRI (8 AM - 9 AM) ; SAT & SUN (8 - 11 AM, 12- 1 PM, 5-6 PM)

WEEK 2 :- MON- FRI ( 8 AM - 9 AM)

What does a Support Worker do?

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

• Meal preparation
• Community outings and integration
• Giving medication
• Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
• Home management
• hoisting

You will earn between $23.97 - $29.68 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.
