This rewarding role involves providing practical and social support tailored to each person's individual needs. You could be assisting with daily living activities, developing life skills, accessing community activities, managing finances, preparing meals, attending appointments, or supporting people to pursue employment and hobbies. Depending on the service, you may also assist with personal care, household tasks, medication administration, and mobility support.
This is a part-time position, offering a variety of shifts across weekdays, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
Prior experience in the health and disability sector is preferred but not required. Astrong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker with a positive attitude is highly valued. Full training and orientation will be provided to individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
