Job summary

Geneva Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our Hamilton East team. You’ll provide practical and emotional support to clients, helping them live independently and achieve daily goals in their own homes and community settings.

The role involves meal prep, outings, medication support, personal care, and safe manual handling. A Level 2 Health & Wellbeing cert (or higher) and a valid NZ driver’s licence are required, with weekend flexibility expected.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
• Previous healthcare or caregiving experience.
• Full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation.
• Community outings and integration.
• Medication support.
• Personal care (showering, toileting, etc.).
• Manual handling and hoist transfers.

Education

Level 2 certificate in Health and wellbeing

Previous healthcare or caregiving experience

Great communication skills

Flexibility to work alternate weekends

What We’re Looking For:
