Job summary

Community Care Trust Aotearoa in Dunedin is seeking Support Workers for our RIDSAS team. The role involves building meaningful relationships, helping people develop life skills, and connecting with communities.

We offer full-time, part-time and casual opportunities. Our 24/7 service requires flexibility, including weekend shifts, with ongoing training and support to complete Health and Wellbeing qualifications while you work. A welcoming, inclusive team environment and meaningful mahi await.

Qualifications

• Current NZ driver licence
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
• First Aid Certificate, or willingness to complete one at our cost
• Willingness to undergo vetting as part of safeguarding commitment
• Availability to work regular weekend shifts

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships and support people to develop life skills, work towards their goals and connect with their communities.
• Provide person-centred, strengths-based support for individuals with high and complex needs.
• Deliver services 24/7 with flexibility across shifts, including weekends.
• Support individuals to live the lives they choose and achieve their aspirations as valued community members.
• Collaborate with the RIDSAS team to promote dignity, safety and positive outcomes.
