Z Energy NZ is seeking a Kaituki Whakatau Utu Punakora Supply Pricing Lead to optimize pricing across the fuel supply chain. You will deliver insights, pricing execution, and systems that maximize value while mitigating risk.

This role offers exposure to B2B and Retail pricing, and a collaborative, commercially focused environment. You will work with a tight-knit pricing team to create simplicity in complex pricing challenges, develop operating models, and drive better commercial outcomes for

Qualifications

• Pricing strategy/revenue management experience preferred; ability to factor market analysis, cost, competitor and profit into pricing strategy.
• Experience with liquid fuel markets beneficial; open to wholesale/trading, utilities or other energy markets.
• Sharp commercial acumen to solve problems and make recommendations.
• Enjoy creating clarity from complexity and partnering across the business to support better outcomes.
• Experience working with data and drawing actionable insights with strong financial and business analysis skills.
• Ability to identify and manage risk across pricing decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across a range of partners.

Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships within Z’s Supply business unit and customer-facing teams to inform pricing decisions.
• Assist in establishing, monitoring, and reviewing pricing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Grow pricing capability across the team and foster commercial thinking and performance.
• Be the trusted supply pricing expert providing advice that supports integrated pricing decisions.
• Develop fit-for-purpose pricing systems and processes to make pricing easier and clearer.
