Job summary

Tribe Group is seeking a Supply Planning professional to develop and maintain robust supply plans that meet customer expectations on DIFOT and quality standards.

You'll use SAP and MRP tools, collaborate cross-functionally across regions, and manage inventory to minimise stockouts and excess. The role is ideal for an FMCG-focused planner who combines strong analytics with practical execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate supply plans based on production forecasts and demand.
• Use SAP and MRP to create production schedules ensuring material availability.
• Collaborate with production and procurement to align plans with objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Perform regular SAP inventories reconciliations.
• Implement inventory optimization strategies.
• Adjust MRP outputs in response to disruptions or demand changes.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues.

About The Opportunity

A global leader in providing sustainable, natural, value-added food and beverage ingredients and solutions to customers worldwide.

The purpose of this role is to develop a supply plan for activities to meet and exceed customer expectations on quality and DIFOT.

Key Accountabilities Include

• Develop and maintain accurate supply plans based on production forecasts, customer demand and seasonal variances.
• Use SAP and MRP systems to create and manage production schedules, ensuring the availability of raw materials and packaging.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to align supply plans with business objectives.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials, work in progress (WIP) and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Conduct regular inventory reconciliations using SAP to ensure data accuracy.
• Implement inventory optimisation strategies, including safety stock levels and reorder points.
• Review and adjust MRP outputs to address supply chain disruptions or demand changes.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supplier issues.

What You’ll Bring

You will no doubt have a good few years’ experience working SAP and data analysis and an in-depth knowledge of the FMCG industry would be an advantage. You will also have excellent planning and time management skills. Your ability to work collaboratively and build partnerships cross functionally and geographically will just be second nature to you. You communication and your interpersonal skills will be exceptional as well your strong analytical ability.
