Job summary

NZ HVAC Supplies Ltd. is seeking a Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory, warehousing and distribution across New Zealand. You will ensure efficient sourcing, storage and delivery, while meeting quality standards and customer needs.

The role requires leadership skills, knowledge of procurement and logistics, and the ability to improve processes to reduce costs. Weekend and public holiday flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in any supervisor or manager role.
• Knowledge of procurement, inventory and logistics management is an advantage.
• Hold leadership and team management abilities.
• Organisational, planning and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing, storage and distribution plans and procedures.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to support production and customer demand while minimising costs.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve quality, price and delivery objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee warehouse operations to ensure stock control.
• Track movement of materials using inventory management systems.
• Coordinate transportation and distribution activities across New Zealand.
• Supervise warehouse and logistics staff, allocating duties and monitoring performance.
• Prepare operational reports on supply chain performance and costs.
