Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island Limited seeks a Supply Chain Improvement Specialist to drive operational excellence across distribution and transport networks on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. You will lead initiatives to improve safety, service, efficiency, and cost performance and act as the WMS expert interfacing with related systems.

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (Blue Yonder WMS is a plus).
• Strong communication and relationship-building across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify improvement opportunities, optimising systems and processes to improve safety, service, efficiency, and cost performance.
• Act as the subject matter expert on Warehouse Management System & Processes and interaction with other supply chain systems (e.g. TMS, Time and Attendance).
• Build strong relationships across the business, influencing stakeholders and driving successful change initiatives.

As a Supply Chain Improvement Specialist, you’ll drive operational excellence across our distribution and transport network. This is a fixed‑term opportunity on a 18‑month contract and a great opportunity to influence change, solve complex operational challenges, and deliver better outcomes across our network.

• Identify improvement opportunities, optimising systems and processes, and delivering initiatives that enhance safety, service, efficiency, and cost performance
• Act as the subject matter expert on the Warehouse Management System & Processes, and the interaction with other supply chain Systems ( eg. TMS, Time and Attendance etc)
• Build strong relationships across the business, influencing stakeholders and driving successful change initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An in-depth knowledge and working experience with warehouse management systems including inventory management (Blue Yonder WMS is a plus!)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship‑building skills across diverse teams
• Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges, interpret requirements from their perspective, and develop practical solutions.
• Highly adaptable, resilient, and self‑driven, with the ability to deliver quality work in a fast‑paced environment.
