Foodies, part of Foodstuffs, operates 300+ stores across Aotearoa. We are seeking a Supply Chain Improvement Specialist on an 18-month contract to drive operational excellence across distribution and transport networks.

You’ll identify improvement opportunities, become the SME on Warehouse Management Systems (Blue Yonder WMS a plus), and build strong stakeholder relationships to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective outcomes across our network.

Te Tūranga – About the role

As a Supply Chain Improvement Specialist, you'll drive operational excellence across our distribution and transport network.This is a fixed-term opportunity on a 18-month contract and a great opportunity to influence change, solve complex operational challenges, and deliver better outcomes across our network.

You’ll also:

• Identify improvement opportunities, optimising systems and processes, and delivering initiatives that enhance safety, service, efficiency, and cost performance
• Act as the subject matter expert on the Warehouse Management System & Processes, and the interaction with other supply chain Systems ( eg. TMS, Time and Attendance etc)
• Build strong relationships across the business, influencing stakeholders and driving successful change initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An in-depth knowledge and working experience with warehouse management systems including inventory management (Blue Yonder WMS is a plus!)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills across diverse teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges, interpret requirements from their perspective, and develop practical solutions.
• Highly adaptable, resilient, and self-driven, with the ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
