Job summary

New Zealand Blood and Organ Service in Auckland or Christchurch is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to turn data into insights across demand planning, inventory and logistics. You will develop dashboards and reporting, support transformation initiatives, and partner with stakeholders to improve processes that keep lifesaving blood products flowing.

The role suits analytical problem-solvers with Excel, Power BI/Tableau experience, and a passion for health system efficiency.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in supply chain, business analytics, data analytics, information systems, operations management or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills including data manipulation, modelling and analysis.
• Experience developing dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide practical recommendations.
• Understanding of supply chain, inventory, demand planning, logistics or procurement processes.
• Experience supporting process improvement, system implementation or project activities.

Responsibilities

• Analyse demand, inventory, logistics, supplier and broader supply chain data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting and performance insights.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Support process improvement and transformation initiatives through analysis, documentation, testing and reporting.
• Work with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business needs and deliver practical solutions.
