Job summary

New Zealand Blood and Organ Service is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join the Planning team. Based in Auckland or Christchurch, you will develop reporting, dashboards and models to support demand planning and inventory management.

You will also assist transformation initiatives and work closely with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights that improve life-saving blood product delivery. You will have a relevant qualification in supply chain or analytics, strong Excel skills, and

Qualifications

Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in supply chain, analytics or related field.
Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, modelling and analysis.
Experience building dashboards and reporting with Power BI or Tableau.
Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and provide practical recommendations.
Understanding of supply chain, inventory, demand planning, logistics or procurement processes.
Experience supporting process improvement or system implementation.

Responsibilities

Analyse demand, inventory, logistics, supplier and broader supply chain data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting and performance insights.
Provide analysis and recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Support process improvement and transformation initiatives through analysis, documentation, testing and reporting.
Work with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business needs and deliver practical solutions.
