Job summary

Sweet Homes in Queenstown is seeking experienced cleaning professionals for permanent full-time (30+ hours) and part-time roles. Pay ranges NZD 25.00–27.00 per hour, based on experience, with immediate start available.

We look for reliable, detail-focused team members who communicate well and can work a rotating roster including weekends and holidays. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate in Summer.

Qualifications

• Valid Work Visa is required.
• Full NZ Driver Licence and strong driving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Proven cleaning experience in housekeeping, residential, and commercial environments.
• Ability to work a rotating roster (6am–6pm), including weekends and public holidays.
• Professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow procedures, instructions, and health & safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of cleaning services including residential, commercial, and holiday homes.
• Classify, organise, and stock linen.
• Report inconsistencies or maintenance concerns.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain company vehicles in a clean and tidy condition.
• Drive company vehicles between job sites.
• Use internal software and mobile apps for scheduling and reporting.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform a range of cleaning services: commercial, residential, holiday homes, deep cleans, post‑build cleans, exit cleans, window cleaning, pre‑sale and pre‑inspection cleans




• Classify, organise, and stock linen




• Report inconsistencies or maintenance concerns




• Follow all cleaning procedures and safe chemical‑use instructions




• Maintain company vehicles in a clean and tidy condition




• Drive company vehicles between job sites




• Use internal software and mobile apps for scheduling and reporting
