Job summary

Auckland Council’s Northern Regional Parks is seeking 8x Summer Park Rangers for 3 or 4 months to be based at a regional park as needed. These full-time roles run from 11 November 2026 to 10 February 2027 or 10 March 2027, with weekend and public holiday rosters and a mandatory training camp 16–20 November 2026 at Waitawa Regional Park.

The role pays a living wage of $29.90 per hour, with accommodation provided and travel expenses to be covered by you.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles in outdoor settings is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a park environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer service across regional parks.
• Contribute to conservation and protection of natural and cultural resources.
• Support maintenance and bylaw control across the park network.
