As a Summer Intern in our City Waters team, you will help develop a practical, risk-based framework for monitoring stormwater pond siltation and maintenance needs. You will be safety conscious and confident working around open water and managing field hazards. Skills in GIS, spatial analysis, basic hydrographic or survey techniques, data management, stormwater systems or open-channel hydrodynamics would be valuable. Boating experience or qualifications would also be useful. A full New Zealand driver licence is required.
