Job summary

Entain Trackside in Auckland is seeking a Studio Director for a part-time, 48-hour fortnight role. You will direct live and pre-recorded programming across multiple channels, coordinating producers, presenters, and crew to deliver engaging race and studio coverage.

Candidates bring at least four years in broadcasting, strong TV production knowledge, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure in a fast-paced live environment. A 24/7 roster and training responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years’ experience in a broadcasting environment or related field.
• Strong practical knowledge of television production, broadcast systems, and studio operations.
• Ability to make quick decisions and manage multiple priorities in a live environment.
• Strong computer literacy, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
• Willingness to work across a 24/7 roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct live and recorded programming across Entain’s delivery channels, ensuring accurate outputs.
• Coordinate presenters, production crew, OB teams and external providers.
• Manage timing, presentation and sponsorship requirements during shifts.
• Make fast, accurate decisions under pressure to maintain a seamless customer experience.
• Complete shift reports and support the training of new team members by sharing broadcast knowledge.
