Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly competent Remote Broadcast Technician to join a growing media production team. This fully remote role focuses on managing and troubleshooting broadcast equipment to ensure seamless delivery of audio and video content for arts and entertainment projects.

You will operate cameras, switchers, encoders, and transmission systems, troubleshoot live streams and recordings, and collaborate with producers to meet technical requirements in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Broadcast Technician, Video Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of video and audio signal flow, broadcast standards, and transmission protocols.
• Proficiency with broadcast hardware and software, including switchers, routers, and encoders.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration in a remote setup.
• Familiarity with live streaming platforms is a plus.
