Job summary

Ngāti Hine Health Trust is seeking a digital content and administration role based at the Pokapu Studio in Kawakawa. The role turns direction from the Communications team into finished, ready-to-post content for Ngāti Hine FM and online channels.

It also supports the external website and an iwi event calendar. The role requires filming, editing, content production, interviewing on camera, strong written communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience filming, editing and producing content for social media and digital platforms.
• Proficient with video, audio and image editing software.
• Comfortable interviewing people on camera.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Hold a full, current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Website administration: act as day-to-day contact for external contractor; log/update requests; keep site content current.
• Content production: produce content for online and social media; plan shoots; filming; interviewing; editing; prepare visuals and captions; ready for posting.
• Event calendar management: support administration and maintenance of a Ngāti Hine iwi/marae event calendar; keep listings accurate.
• General administration: provide support to Communications team; maintain files and archives; perform other duties as required.
