Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive transportation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee the management of the company's fleet, including maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
• Implement and monitor transportation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Optimize delivery routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times and costs.
• Lead and mentor the transportation team, fostering a culture of safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Manage transportation budgets and control expenses effectively.
• Oversee the investigation and resolution of transportation-related incidents and claims.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as warehousing and sales, to ensure integrated supply chain operations.
