Job summary

The University of Waikato is seeking a stakeholder engagement adviser to join the International and Engagement Office in Hamilton. You’ll build relationships with partners, understand priorities and connect them with opportunities across the University.

This dynamic role blends strategic communications and relationship management to enhance visibility, support sponsorships and employer engagement, and strengthen partnerships that benefit communities and improve Waikato’s profile.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communicator with a talent for building relationships
• Hands-on experience managing stakeholder relationships and crafting content
• Experience with sponsorships, employer engagement or reputation initiatives valuable
• Experience in tertiary education or public sector environments is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders and partners to understand priorities and connect them with opportunities across the University
• Strengthen sponsorship partnerships and coordinate stakeholder activities
