The University of Waikato in Hamilton is seeking a communications-savvy relationship builder to join our International and Engagement Office as Stakeholder Engagement Adviser. You’ll engage with stakeholders and partners to understand priorities and connect them with opportunities across the University.

Qualifications

• You have a background in communications, business, or management.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and crafting content for diverse audiences.
• Experience with sponsorships, employer engagement or reputation initiatives.
• Public sector or tertiary education experience is advantageous.
• You bring energy, clarity and a collaborative spirit to your work.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders and partners to understand priorities and connect them with opportunities across the University.
• Plan engagement, bring the right people together and develop clear communications.
• Support engagement that raises Waikato’s awareness and contributes to our reputation and rankings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the University to coordinate stakeholder activities and partnerships.
