Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking a Risk & Assurance Lead to partner with leaders across our Customer Service Delivery unit and strengthen risk, assurance and resilience management. The role is highly visible and influences senior stakeholders to drive meaningful change.

You will drive implementation of the enterprise risk framework, facilitate risk workshops, build an assurance program, monitor risks, enable business continuity, and develop insights to support better decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in risk, assurance, audit, or governance.
• Experience in logistics/supply chain or manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of NZ Post's enterprise risk framework and help leaders identify, assess, monitor and manage risk.
• Facilitate risk workshops and provide practical guidance on risk management, controls and compliance.
• Build and deliver a risk assurance programme and strengthen first-line assurance capability.
• Monitor Customer Service Delivery risks, support leaders to manage residual risk and report on trends.
• Enable business continuity, operational resilience, incident management and recovery readiness.
• Develop risk insights, key risk indicators and assurance reporting for better decisions.
• Partner with Operational Excellence to embed risk management in day-to-day governance.
