Qualifications

• Extensive experience in environmental compliance, governance, or assurance.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory obligations.
• Experience leading audit and assurance programmes.
• Experience managing environmental risk and incident investigations.
• Ability to translate complex regulations into practical business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance and assurance programme across the business.
• Oversee governance, management systems, audits, and assurance activities to strengthen performance.
• Identify and manage environmental risks, supporting informed decisions.
• Lead investigations and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Monitor environmental performance using data and assurance findings for improvement.
• Provide evidence-based advice to senior leaders on obligations and risk.
