DIALOG Fitzroy is seeking a strategic Procurement Manager to lead procurement across major projects and regional locations. You will drive supplier performance, governance, and commercial value, reporting to the General Manager, Major Projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading procurement functions in engineering, construction, infrastructure or heavy industry.
• Experience running procurement as a centralised function.
• Strong contract negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Experience developing procurement strategies and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated cost savings and business-value improvements.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to build relationships with operational, project, commercial and executive stakeholders.
• Experience in project-based, engineering or industrial environments is valued.
• Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy & Governance - Develop procurement strategies, maintain standards, and ensure compliance.
• Supplier Management - Build strategic partnerships, negotiate high-value contracts and framework agreements, and drive performance.
• Commercial Performance - Deliver value through cost optimisation, market analysis, risk mitigation and project support.
• People Leadership - Develop team capability while driving performance and accountability.
• Continuous Improvement - Improve procurement processes and systems for efficiency and consistency.
• Stakeholder Management - Partner with leaders to support commercial and operational success.
• Health, Safety & Environment - Champion HSE compliance and a safe workplace.
