Halter seeks a Materials Supply Planner to own supplier demand, purchase orders, and inventory for defined components. You will work with contract manufacturers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and supply health.

You’ll turn forecasts into material requirements, manage POs, and lead recovery when shortages occur. The role is hands-on with room to grow as Halter scales its supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply or materials planning in hardware/electronics manufacturing.
• Strong grasp of MRP, PO management, inventory control, and how demand turns into supply requirements.

Responsabilités

• Run the supply plan for your components, turning demand forecasts and production requirements into material requirements at the right quantities and timing.
• Place, manage and track purchase orders, making sure they’re confirmed, on schedule and flagged early when they’re at risk.
• Run the clear‑to‑build check ahead of each production build, and lead the recovery when a shortage hits.
• Build working relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers, and use them to expedite and clear delays at the source.
• Take on persistent supplier problems and see them through to resolution.
• Manage inventory for your components with enough cover to protect production without tying up cash, and keep the settings behind it current.
• Plan the supply side of engineering changes and new product introductions, including cut‑in timing, last‑time buys and limiting write‑offs.
• Maintain reporting that gives an honest view of supply health: coverage, on‑time delivery, supplier performance and inventory position.
