Job summary

EVT Connect Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Financial Controller to manage daily finance operations for a growing hotel portfolio across NZ and AU. You will ensure accurate P&L, balance sheets, and robust cashflow control, while improving financial processes and reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in hotel finance, experience with SunSystems/NetSuite, and CPA/CA qualifications preferred. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and collaboration with AP/AR teams to optimise profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar hotel finance role.
• Experience with ERP systems (SunSystems and NetSuite).
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly P&L and balance sheet within stipulated timeframes.
• Oversee payroll preparation, accuracy checks and statutory submissions.
• Collaborate with AP/AR managers to ensure timely cashflow and collections.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting for hotels.
• Maintain controls, SOPs and ensure compliance across all finance functions.
