Job summary

MBIE in Wellington CBD is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery and report to the Head of Finance within Corporate and Digital Shared Services. You will partner with TWSD portfolio GMs to set financial direction and drive strategy implementation.

Qualifications

• CA (or equivalent) with strong financial management experience.
• Experience in financial reporting within large, complex organisations.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and presenting insights clearly.
• Strong analytical, strategic and planning skills with commercial acumen.
• Team player able to collaborate at senior leadership level.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and budgeting/forecasting support for portfolios.
• Ensure financial management processes comply with legislation and best practice.
• Drive outcomes and align with MBIE's strategy to deliver financial results.
