Job summary

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect, Data and Asset. Lead the architecture direction across our Data and Asset technology domains, shaping platforms, services and standards to support digital products and services across NZTA.

Partner with senior technology leaders to enable pragmatic, future-focused delivery. You will balance strategic leadership with delivery pragmatism, influence senior stakeholders, and promote data, AI and architecture capabilities

Qualifications

Significant experience in enterprise, solution or technology architecture.
Strong knowledge of data platforms, information management and analytics.
Experience developing technology strategies, target states and roadmaps.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and investment decisions.
Experience across complex product, platform and delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Own the architecture direction for the Data and Asset technology domains.
Develop target states, architecture roadmaps and strategic guidance.
Partner with Head of Data & AI to shape enterprise data and AI capabilities.
Guide data platforms, information management services and analytics capabilities.
Influence technology investment decisions and organisational priorities.
Ensure architecture principles are reflected in product and platform development.
