Job summary

New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect, Data and Asset to lead architecture across data and asset technology domains. This strategic role shapes platforms, services and standards for digital products and services.

You will partner with senior technology leaders to balance strategic direction with pragmatic delivery, ensuring alignment with NZTA’s data and AI capabilities and enterprise principles.

Qualifications

• Senior-level enterprise, solution or technology architecture experience.
• Strong knowledge of data platforms, information management and analytics.
• Experience developing technology strategies, target states and roadmaps.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture direction for Data and Asset domains.
• Develop target states, roadmaps and strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with Head of Data & AI to shape capabilities and standards.
• Guide data platforms, information management and analytics ecosystems.
