Job summary

NZ Transport Agency | Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect, Data and Asset to lead architecture direction across our Data and Asset technology domains. You will collaborate with senior technology leaders to shape platforms, services and standards that support digital products and services across NZTA.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong experience in data, AI capabilities, and an ability to translate complex concepts into clear guidance for delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise, solution or technology architecture.
• Strong knowledge of data platforms, information management, analytics and emerging AI capabilities.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and investment decisions.
• Experience across complex product, platform and delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture direction for the Data and Asset technology domains.
• Develop target states, architecture roadmaps and strategic technology guidance.
• Guide data platforms, information management services, analytics capabilities and asset ecosystems.
