Job summary

New Zealand Police is seeking a Strategic Coordinator – Transnational, Serious and Organised Crime Strategy in Wellington. The role sits at the centre of NZ’s TSOC response, coordinating cross-agency initiatives and providing governance support to senior leaders.

You will manage complex projects with strong relationship management, communication and coordination capabilities, and may require national security clearance. This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities across NZ Police.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification, or substantial relevant work experience is required.
• Formal project management training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-agency projects and initiatives, sharing information to strengthen delivery.
• Support across work programme streams for efficient delivery.
• Provide governance secretariat support: agendas, packs, minutes, registers, briefings.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to stakeholders and decision-makers.
