Job summary

New Zealand Police in Hamilton seeks a Lead Intelligence Analyst to support decision-makers across tactical, operational and strategic levels. You will use advanced analytic tools, provide insight, and help develop Intelligence capability within the Waikato team and across NZ Police Intelligence.

You will coach others, foster collaboration, and ensure high standards of written and verbal communication while championing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in Intelligence products.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Intelligence practitioner and/or postgraduate qualification.
• Strong research, critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor others and provide effective peer review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and inform decision-making.
