Job summary

Marlborough District Council is seeking an experienced asset management professional to lead planning and budgeting for three waters assets in Blenheim. You will work with engineering, finance and planning teams to inform decisions and manage infrastructure data systems.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years’ experience, a Bachelor of Engineering, and strong Excel/data analysis skills. Knowledge of IPWEA and Apopo is a plus, with a focus on lifecycle and investment planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in asset management and infrastructure planning for three waters.
• Bachelor of Engineering or similar qualification is required.
• Ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders and manage priorities.
• Knowledge of IPWEA and Apopo frameworks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset management planning and budgeting for three waters assets.
• Manage the infrastructural asset database and reporting.
• Monitor asset performance and prepare valuation and lifecycle plans.
• Develop renewal and investment plans and support environmental compliance.
