Job summary

Endura Mining is developing its operations in New Zealand with a hands‑on Storesperson to support day‑to‑day site store activities. You will work closely with maintenance and operations teams to receive, issue, and track inventory, while ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, practical site experience, and a proactive approach to housekeeping and stock control, contributing to a reliable supply chain as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Prior Storesperson/Warehouse experience preferred.
• Mining, construction, manufacturing, or heavy industry experience is advantageous.
• Current Forklift Licence or demonstrated forklift experience.
• Competent with basic computer systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
• Issue parts, tools, consumables, and equipment to site personnel.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movements in the system.
• Conduct stocktakes, cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and transporting materials on site.
• Maintain stock levels of critical consumables and spare parts.
• Label and catalogue inventory for easy storage and retrieval.
• Keep stores areas clean, safe and orderly; support hazardous substances storage.

Seeking a reliable and hands on Storesperson to support the day-to-day to day operation of our site store. Working closely with maintenance and operational teams, you will be responsible for receiving and issuing inventory, managing stock levels, maintaining accurate inventory records, operating forklifts, and ensuring the stores facility is safe, organised, and operating efficiently.

This is a practical, site-based role that requires strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, a commitment to maintaining high standards of housekeeping and inventory control. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building positive relationships across site, and playing an important role in keeping our operation running smoothly.

As our Storesperson, you will be responsible for:

• Conduct stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and transporting materials around site.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of critical consumables and spare parts.
• Catalogue and label inventory items to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
• Ensure all stores areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Support the safe storage and handling of hazardous substances and regulated materials.
• Participate in inventory audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you:

• Previous experience in a Storesperson, Warehouse, Inventory Control or Materials Handling role.
• Experience working in mining, construction, manufacturing, engineering or heavy industry environments is advantageous.
• Current Full Driver Licence.
• Current Forklift Licence (F Endorsement) or demonstrated forklift operating experience.
• Experience using inventory management, maintenance management or ERP systems is desirable.
• Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
• Experience with stocktakes, inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safe storage requirements for hazardous substances is desirable.
